Windmill Days

Windmill Days:  August 15-16, 2025

The 2025 Windmill Days celebration is being planned by the Grove City Economic Development Authority members. It will be a two-day event this year taking place on Friday and Saturday. The parade will take place Saturday evening. Local businesses, churches and non-profit organizations are invited to sponsor events for Friday and Saturday.

This page will be updated as we complete the schedule and confirm sponsors and events. It is a draft and subject to change.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 15

City Wide Garage Sales - 8am

Grove Bank Free Community Lunch - 11am-1pm

GCFD Bean Bag Tournament - 6pm

     GCFD will sell burgers and hotdogs during the Bean Bag Tournament - 6pm

Lions Club Bingo at Trinity Lutheran Church - 7pm

SATURDAY, AUGUST 16

Vendors and Food Trucks - 8am

City Wide Garage Sales - 8am

3rd Annual 1K Donut & Beer Walk sponsored by MN Beer Co. - 9am

Medallion Hunt - 9am with clues on the hour

Pickleball Tournament sponsored by First Baptist Church - 9am

Kids’ Activities at Trinity Lutheran Church - 10am - 1pm

Classic Car Show sponsored by MN Beer Co. - 10am-2pm

Mud Volleyball sponsored by 201 Building Supply - 11am

     GC Rescue will sell root beer floats during Mud Volleyball - 11am

Grove City Historical Museum will be open at South Grove from 1 pm-4pm with lemonade and cookies.
     Lemonade and cookies will be served.

Children's Games at the Community Center sponsored by the Grove City Library

Parade with 1st 2nd and 3rd prizes for best float!  $100, $75 and $50 - 6:30pm with line up at 5:30pm.

Post Parade Activities:
     GC Fire Department will give rides in the fire truck.

     GC Fire Department Drawing for children's bikes that have been donated.

    GC CARES raffle drawing.

Taste of Grove City Restaurant Rendezvous! Visit our local restaurants/pubs during the evening for their Windmill Days specials and entertainment.
